beautiful
This dress is ivory (in the pics it shows as white). The silk and gauze fabric are gorgeous much more so than in the pic. My bust is 35''. I ordered both 4 and 6 as according to the size chart I fall in between. I am trying to decide whether to have the 4 altered to expand a bit in the chest or alter the 6 to fit tighter. The four is quite tight in the chest but I like the way it fits in the shoulders and waist better than the 6. The seams have very little room for expansion in the chest area but I'll if my seamstress can do something creative.

Delicate perfection
The craftsmanship in the dress is amazing. I only had 6 weeks to organise our DIY wedding in Australia, so purchasing this dress really took a leap of faith... and boy did it pay off! It arrived in Australia within 7 working days and as soon as I put on the dress, I knew that this was the one.
The BHLDN consultant was very helpful in determining the right size, and the dress fitted almost perfectly. I had a tailor take it up and we reduced the train of the dress slightly so it wouldn't get caught on my shoes. We also put in a couple of subtle darts in the delicate bodice so it wouldn't gape. This made the dress flawless! My tailor kept commenting on the outstanding quality of this garment.
The dress is a timeless classic, yet it is also so unique. I haven't seen anything else quite like it. I had so many wonderful compliments on the day. The embroidery is stunning and on the sheer bodice it felt like it floated on my décolletage. I also bought a floral sash which helped accentuate the dress and waistline.
Yes, the dress is extremely delicate, but I feel that this enhances its beauty. The dress was also extremely comfortable, flattering and I felt so beautiful on the day.
Yes - the price is high, (especially as there's stamps and duties when importing to Australia), but given the limited time I had to seek out a dress, I absolutely have no regrets. It is classic, yet unique. Fragile, yet beautiful. This dress will make you feel and look amazing.

simple, well-made elegance
I originally order a size 10 based on the fit guide and when it arrived it was HUGE! I contacted a BHLDN stylist about doing an exchange for a smaller size and she was incredibly helpful. She explained that the fit guide is a bit off for this particular dress and was able to recommend which size would work best based on my measurements. I recommend contacting a stylist before you order this dress to confirm that you are ordering the proper size since it doesn't match the fit guide. She helped expedit the exchange and had a smaller size shipped to me within a week. I was very impressed with the customer service and the new dress fits very nicely! I can't wait to wear it my wedding!

Beautiful
I did not end up buying this dress but it was a very very close second. I tried it on in at the Houston location. For a sample dress it was in amazingly good condition, reassuring me that while the fabric may seem delicate it was quite durable. The lace on the front was seamless and appeared as if it was almost glued to my skin. I love the way the extra fabric flows so beautifully when you walk. I ended up buying another dress in a size 4 that fits perfectly but this dress in size 4 was a little big and would have needed alterations, being just under 5'6" it was also a wee bit long of course.

Delicate, timeless, and nontraditional
I started my wedding search hoping to find something with sheer shoulders and cloth buttons. After exhausting many wedding websites for the course of several months, I found the perfect choice. In my opinion, strapless dresses are overrated and it is incredibly difficult to find something with a youthful modesty without appearing to be in a David's Bridal catalog.
The price is high--very high--but with equally high quality; my tailor even commented on the craftsmanship and fabric. However, the overlaying fabric is very fragile and catches easily. I was terrified that it would rip on the hanger because when not on, all of the weight relies on a thin seam on very delicate material. When on, the weight is transferred to the underlying silk material, making it wearable and comfortable. My biggest problem with the dress is that it was difficult to wear it with heels. The bottom of the heels kept catching the overlying material and I had to be in constant awareness of the hem. I would recommend that the bride should wear flats throughout. If the dress is the perfect height with the flats, you could avoid my consistent grappling with trying to hold fistfuls of the two layers.
Whatever you do, do not let that dissuade you. This dress was beautiful and fulfilled all my wishes. I received so many wonderful compliments. It is true to size and looks like a dream when on the body and on the hanger. It covers any self-conscious areas and I truly felt beautiful.
My main wish for a wedding dress is that it would be timeless and classic. I wanted to look my age (twenty-one) but not like a immature child-bride and I hope that maybe future daughters will wish to wear for their wedding day. Truly, a perfect dress.

Stunning Dress!
This dress was really beautiful. I bought a size 8, however it did fit a bit big, so I recommend to go one size down from your normal size. The dress is very light and flows really well. It's a very delicate dress and the colour is very beautiful. The bodice is soft , but it does give support. I did buy a sash with the dress as well to give some more detail to the waist.

Love, love, love!
Have been eyeing this dress for some time because it is so lovely and unique. When it arrived, it was even more wonderful than I expected. I am 5'7" 130 lbs and ordered a size 4 which fit like a glove. I am removing the train, and I can't wait to wear on my wedding day.

such a lovely gown
I am totally in love with this dress. It is hard to put into words how beautiful and soft the fabric is. It is the most fluid, fluttery, delicate fabric and the way it lays is just lovely. It looks just like the pictures, except I would say the color is not as "cool" of a white. In my opinion, picture 7 where the model is in the gazebo has the most accurate portrayal of the color.
I am 5'6" and 115 lbs, 34C and the 0 fit me perfectly. It is very flattering on my body type - it made my waist look tiny. The bodice is very supportive - I don't think I will have issues with keeping the gown pulled up like I sometimes do with strapless dresses. It also made me appear long and lean and minimized my broader shoulders. It does have a small train like one reviewer mentioned earlier, but I am going to have it shortened because we are having a garden wedding. I am so happy to have found my dress!

An Absolute Dream
The way the silk of this gown felt was UNBELIEVABLE. It was so soft and thin and gauzy and barely there. It felt the way I imagine a cloud feels.
The embroidery at the top was stunning. The buttons along the back were a nice touch.
The way it pooled at my feet a little was beautiful. The slight train wouldn't work with out outdoor venue so I passed this one up. But a dreamy and elegant gown.
